Private music lessons are offered on the Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) campus for the convenience of our families. Instruction is available in piano, voice and guitar.  Students interested in private or small group music lessons should contact the instructor to register and secure their appointment time. 

Private Violin Lessons With Shannon Feliciano
Shannon Feliciano has had a passion for music since as early as she can remember. As a performer, she had the opportunity to perform as a violin soloist with the LIYO orchestra tour to six countries in Southeast Asia. She has also performed with the Metropolitan Opera’s Opera in a Nutshell performance of La Boheme and Tosca at the Metropolitan Opera House as well as in Avery Fischer Hall, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Shannon also enjoyed performing with the Brooklyn Conservatory Orchestra while she resided in NYC. Shannon has over a decade of teaching experience and has taken master classes with great pedagogues such as Itzhak Perlman and Ani Kavafian in the Starling-Delay symposium at the Julliard School. She loved teaching and decided to pursue studies in violin teaching methods. She graduated with her degree in String Pedagogy-Violin Principle from Bob Jones University, taught the High School/Middle School music prep students at the college and also taught at the Bob Jones Elementary School during her internship. Her students have ranked in the top 3 in their school's music competition and 1st chair in orchestra. When she moved back to New York, Shannon also helped her students get top scores and awards in their NYSSMA adjudications. Now residing in Greenville, she hopes to share everything she has learned in her musical journey with her students looks forward to sharing the joy of music with others!

Piano Lessons with Bonnie Heiser

Piano and Accordion with Rossi Kennedy

Mrs. Kennedy earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Music Education from Bulgaria and a Master of Music from Sydney Australia.  She is an experienced, enthusiastic teacher for beginner to advanced students.  Enjoy fun pieces, awards, recitals, and music festival preparation! She is a former Music Examiner and Accredited Accompanist for the Australian Music Examination Board in Sydney. An Adjudicator of Music for the National Federation of Music Clubs in Anderson, Rossi is a winner of piano competitions. She loves teaching students of all ages how to play the piano and the accordion. The Shannon Forest Christian School Private Music Lesson program is offered as a service to students of Shannon Forest Christian School and exists to make music lessons more convenient for our families.
• All lessons will be given on campus, Monday through Friday unless otherwise approved by school/church personnel.
• After School Music Program instructors are private contractors, not school employees, and have agreed to a background check as part of their qualifications for the program.
• All lesson fees are set by the instructors and are paid directly to each individual instructor.
• Piano students should have access to an instrument for practice between lessons.  Students of other instruments should purchase or rent an instrument from a reputable dealer.
• Lesson books are determined by the teacher.
