Shannon’s Parents Reaching Out (PRO) Organization Needs YOU!
Shannon Forest’s Parents Reaching Out (PRO) organization is looking for two volunteers to serve as representatives for the East Campus (K3 -5th Grade) and the West Campus (6th - 12th Grade). These people will be the liaison between the school and its parent volunteers for the 2017-2018 school year. If you are interested in helping to lead the various volunteer activities on either the East or West Campus, please contact Laura Boehm at email@example.com .
Our Parents Are PROS!
The faculty and staff would like to thank all our amazing Parents Reaching Out (PRO) volunteers for all of their time and support this school year. Our parents stepped in to help in the classroom, at Fall Fest, chaperoned numerous field trips, served teacher appreciation lunches and signed up to assist at our many athletic events. Our PRO parents help to make Shannon Forest an amazing place for our entire community. We look forward to partnering with you again for the 2017-2018 school year. Thank you and have a great summer!
We “Heart” Our Shannon Forest Teachers!
National Teacher Appreciation Week is celebrated during the week of May 8 - 12. On Wednesday, May 10, our Parents Reaching Out (PRO) Organization will be hosting a “Grab & Go” lunch to show their appreciation for our faculty and staff. During this busy time of the year, our wonderful parent volunteers will help to bag Honey Baked lunches and provide delicious desserts that the teachers can Grab & Go at their convenience! You are welcome to show your appreciation in your own special way anytime during this national week with random acts of appreciation. We are so thankful for our teachers who inspire our students each and every day!
SFCS Night At The Greenville Drive Was A Home Run!
Last Saturday, over 250 people from our Shannon Forest community gathered to enjoy a beautiful spring evening of Greenville Drive baseball.
Our combined choirs kicked off the night with an amazing rendition of The National Anthem.Honorary bat boy - Jack Magera and bat girl - Caroline Porterfield were in the dugout during the game to keep the bats in line! Ice Cream helmet sundaes and SF baseball caps were enjoyed by one and all!
Thank you to our Parents Reaching Out (PRO) organization for ALL you do for our Shannon Forest families, faculty and staff!
